Each year for the past 3 years, we have visited the Berks Animal Rescue League just outside of Reading, PA and this year, we received coverage from Channel 69. Here’s a link to a brief video of the visit as seen on television today.

Beautiful scenery while at dinner in Jim Thorpe, extended daylight makes the scenery very beautiful! We are in the mountains and the last 50 miles hinted at that with 4000 feet of climb to finish with 7200 feet on 118 miles. Everyone is very relaxed and enjoys a good meal. We will go to bed early, we visit the Carbon County Friends of Animals tomorrow and the itinerary calls for 124 miles! Nite Nite to all, thanks for your support!

Lunch Time in Topton PA

Great ride so far, all 18 were staying together until a few took a wrong turn and the sag wagon brought them back! We did a 2.5 miles climb to earn linch! Weather is perfect, overcast and mild, the humidity is picking up!
Good time to flush lactic acid off your legs! 50 miles to go!
