A Warm Welcome At the Humane Society in Binghamton

Posted by vohnjec on June 23, 2011

We arrived to great fanfare at the Humane Society in Binghamton. This shelter houses up to 40 dogs and 90 cats and today they were are full. They get hundreds of animals per year and keep the animals until they are adopted. With over 40 phone apps per day for abandoned animals, overpopulation and cruelty reports, they keep very busy and need your help.

If you want to help, they can use food (Pedigree brand, please), Purina Cat Chow. They can also use cleaning supplies, blankets and towels, and office supplies. As always, donations by cash, check or online (see for the link) are always appreciated. We’ll post more later.

We were also met and interviewed by Jim Ehmke and his interns Haley Farrell and Jessica Mosier and once the story is broadcast we will share the link here!
