Media Attention Grows!

We already posted a bunch of newspaper, radio and television links but today on day one we had the Daily Local, Action News 6 (who ran the story at 12:30 and again at 6:00pm), TV-69 in Birdsboro (http://www.wfmz.com/berksnews/23997337/detail.html). The Reading Eagle, specifically Jessica Bakeman interviewed us and posted an article the next day, and per the previous blog post, a 40 minute segment on www.pennspeakradio.com.
Tomorrow, we are already confirmed to visit with the Carbon County Friends of Animals in Jim Thorpe and will be met there by Blue-Ridge-13, and the Times News. As we roll on, we have a 10:30 in-transit interview with WNEP, TV-16 from the Scranton area and the another radio interview with www.pennspeakradio.com from 11:00am to 11:45am with radio personality “Doc”!

Day One is Done!

We completed day one a bit more quickly than expected and arrived at the Country Inn and Suites by 4:15pm with an averege speed that was around 18 mph.
The amazing thing about Lehighton is that people know each other so as we speak we are on the radio at

I will give you another update shortly but now we are on air talking to Casey Parker.

Lunch in Topton

We arrived in Topton at The Market Cafe and are enjoying lunch.
We met up with Tricia and Maureen who were riding from Trexlertown for their lunch ride too!
It’s great to see fellow riders along the way and hope to see more!! But for now, we’ll get our food and eat!
